Mindful Act of Kindness – Pick Up Dropped Clothes off the Floor at the Store
Instead of stepping over that sweater on the floor in the aftermath of a crazed department store sale, pick it up and set it on table. Better yet, bring it to the counter or dressing room area. Unless you’re in retail yourself, skip folding it. You’ll just mess it up and the associate will have to fold it again anyway. Just picking it up off the ground is enough to keep someone from leaving a footprint on it and either forcing the store to mark it down or leaving someone irked when they don’t notice it until they get it home.
